Mercedes-AMG G63 colour ideas: 20 wrap colours on the G-Class and our real projects
The G-Class is the car that gets re-coloured more often than any other in Dubai, and for a reason: flat panels, straight lines and black trim make almost any colour look deliberate. Below are all twenty colours from our simulator on the same Mercedes-AMG G63, in one scene and one light, so you can compare them honestly, followed by the real G-Class projects from our workshop in Al Quoz.

Why colour works so well on the G63
Most cars hide colour in curves. The G-Class shows it on large flat surfaces: doors, bonnet, the spare wheel cover. Satin and matte finishes read as one calm block, gloss shows every reflection of the Dubai sky, and the black wheel arches, bumpers and roof rails frame any shade. That is why even loud colours, from candy red to chameleon, look finished on a G63 rather than loud.
Twenty colours on the same G63
All pictures below are visualisations from our colour simulator: one white base, recoloured into the twenty films we actually lay, with the lights, chrome and glass left untouched. Tap any picture to see it full size.
Calm and pastel
White, desert sand and the pastels are the Dubai classics: they stay cool in the sun and photograph well against the skyline. Rose gold is the one people stop for.

Candy red, royal blue and emerald are for owners who want the car recognised from a block away. Burgundy and deep purple are the quieter versions of the same idea.

Satin olive, Nardo grey, satin bronze and satin black are the four most requested G-Class colours in our workshop. Satin hides fingerprints and small marks far better than gloss.

Chameleon shifts between purple, blue and green as you walk around the car. Chrome is a mirror on wheels: spectacular, but it needs careful washing and is not for every day.
Real G-Class projects from our workshop
Visualisations are for choosing. These are photographs of G-Class cars that went through Desert Diamond in Al Quoz: colour-change wraps in pink and green, a body kit on a bright green car, tinting on a brown one, clear paint protection film on black. Every job has its own page with all the photos.

How to choose a colour for your G63
- **Finish first, colour second.** Satin and matte hide swirl marks and fingerprints; gloss shows the body lines and every reflection. On a G-Class satin is the safer everyday choice.
- **Think about the black parts.** Arches, bumpers, mirrors and roof rails stay black on most wraps: light and pastel colours contrast with them, dark colours blend in.
- **Match the wheels.** Black or bronze wheels suit satin olive, sand and grey; polished wheels work with gloss and chrome.
- **Resale.** A wrap comes off without a trace, so the factory colour stays underneath. That is the main reason owners choose a wrap over a repaint.
- **Look at the real film.** Screens differ. Before the job we put the sample next to your car in daylight at the studio.
Wrap or repaint?
For a G63 the answer is almost always a wrap: a few days instead of weeks, any finish including satin, chrome and chameleon, and the paint protected underneath. A repaint makes sense when the paint itself is damaged or when the colour is meant to stay for good. The full comparison is in our guide how to change the colour of your car in Dubai.
FAQ
How long does a colour-change wrap on a G63 take?
Usually a few days: the G-Class has many removable parts, and we take them off to tuck the edges, so the result looks like paint.
Does the new colour need to be registered?
Yes, a colour change is updated in the RTA registration. We prepare the photos and handle the update for you.
Can I try a colour that is not in these twenty?
Write to us in WhatsApp: we show film samples in the studio and photos of jobs in that colour.
